Hi, I'm Manoj
Here's my life story:
- I was born in Melbourne, Australia to immigrant parents from Sri Lanka
- I was a super nerdy kid and loved creating stuff. When I was 12, I entered a lego stopmotion competition and placed 10th worldwide.
- I graduated high school in the top 0.05% of Australia then went straight to medical school at 18.
- At uni I did research in AI + Neurology, publishing two papers and taught myself python and R. I loved both coding and research.
- Halfway through my MD, I founded KIS Academics and bootstrapped it to to 7 figures revenue in 3 years
- After graduating, I worked as a doctor at Monash Health
- In 2024, I quit being a doctor, hired a new CEO for KIS Academics and solo backpacked around the world for 366 days.
- I made amazing friends, did some cool and crazy things and documented my adventures on Instagram
- 31 countries later, I returned to Australia in Jan 2025 before moving to San Francisco in March (sorry mum and dad!)
